Meet the Owners
Kevin Thompson-Owner and General Manager
Kevin E. Thompson, Sr. has over 26 years experience working in the HVAC industry. He started his career in the service industry working part-time for a small appliance repair business in Alexandria, Louisiana, while serving his country as a policeman in the United States Air Force from 1982-1988. Kevin and his young family then moved back home to Virginia where he worked as an Assistant Chief Engineer for Winston Management. In 1992 Kevin went to work for Krafft Services, Inc. as an HVAC technician, where he worked until 2010.
In September 2010, Kevin started his own HVAC business, along with his partner and brother, Jeff L. Thompson Jr. Kevin holds a Masters License in HVAC.
Kevin and his wife Christine reside in Ruckersville, where they recently built a home on their family's property. They have two grown children. Kevin Jr., who also resides in Ruckersville and Kathryn, of Charlottesville.
Jeff Thompson-Owner
Jeff L. Thompson Jr. has over 33 years in the building material supply business working his way up from Warehouseman to General Manager. He started with a small local chain of hardware stores in 1977. In 1981, he went to work for Lowe's. He left Lowe's in April 1989, having been the top salesperson in the company the previous year, and went to work for a newly formed building material supply company which was then called Builders Supply and Lumber. Later renamed Builders FirstSource, this publicly traded company still operates today.
In September 2010, Jeff started his own HVAC business, along with his partner and brother, Kevin E. Thompson, Sr.
Jeff and his wife Kim have resided in Culpeper since 1992. They have 2 grown children, Emelie, a 2009 graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Va. with a BFA in Music Theatre, and Ashleigh, currently a Junior in the Conservatory at Shenandoah University. They also have a daughter still at home that attends Culpeper County Public Schools.
